EXPRES-KOV is a metal fabrication shop that ships to construction firms and shopfitting agencies — not to end customers. The website had to stop looking like a generic “we do steel fences and rails” shop and start speaking the language of general contractors looking for a reliable subcontractor on a high-end retail build-out.
Context
The client had been working on impressive projects (Art Villas Costa Rica, Babylon shopping mall stores, design studios), but the online presence didn’t match the quality of the actual work. Practically no website meant practically no inbound — B2B buyers couldn’t find them and existing relationships didn’t scale.
What we solved
- Positioning. Replaced “custom metal fabrication” with a sharp specialization: shopfitting, retail, construction subcontracting. The hero claim pre-qualifies the visitor within 3 seconds.
- Three core selling points. Express co-operation (covering peak loads), White-label partnership (they’re not competing with agencies), Quality for retail (no visible welds, perfect finishing). Each point answers a real B2B pain.
- Portfolio as proof. A “What we built” section with project names the B2B audience recognises (Costa Rica, Babylon, Galerie Café, Studio Flora). Client names speak louder than self-praise.
- A 4-step process. Talk → Quote → Build → Install. Clients know what to expect before they pick up the phone.
- A client logo strip at the end — final social proof when the visitor is mostly convinced and just needs a final push.
Outcome
A static Astro site on Cloudflare Pages. Sub-second load times, fully responsive, SEO-tuned (LocalBusiness schema, hreflang, sitemap). The footer credits “Built by studio FRGTN” — a small thing we didn’t push for, but one we’re happy to put our name on.
